Unpretentious, friendly service and a delicious 2 course lunch menu for £8:95. Very pleasant experience

The service here was good. Food came hot, but wasn’t anything special. Me and my mum ordered different risottos . She said the vegetables in hers were tasteless and overall the meal was too. She was given flat, unbranded coke also! My risotto had lovely seafood, however with both risottos the rice was not really cooked and was really chewy, tasteless and hard. It kept getting stuck in our teeth and was fairly difficult to eat. Overall we were a little disappointed and wouldn’t return here again.

Stopped for a set lunch menu, first time and was very surprised at the lovely food and the massive portions. Really good value. Set menu was basic but very well done and tasty. Welcoming and friendly staff.
