Awesome views of Mt Gambier, Valley Lake & the surrounding districts. The tower was built in 1904 & is 190 metres above sea level. It’s about a 10 minute steep walk that’s guaranteed to get your heart racing & blood pumping to the top from the car park on Elliot Drive.

The tower was closed, but the views from there were awesome. It is a pretty steep walk (almost half a km). So if you have any fitness issues, you should probably avoid it. There are no water spouts or toilets around, so be mindful of that.

Great view. Short walk to the tower but it is a steep incline!! Worth the walk I think... but I enjoy walking :-)
