The location is beautiful, right on Nelson Bay marina, however, the cafe itself is quite run down and several 'staple' cafe items were unavailable on our visit (hot chocolate and banana bread). We ordered fried eggs and bacon, and scrambled eggs and bacon. Whilst the serving sizes were large, the fried eggs were overly oily and the bacon was overcooked (almost charcoal-burnt in parts). The coffee was so strong that my wife had to have extra sugar (3 instead of her usual 1) and I had to have extra sweetener. Unfortunately, there isn't much competition at this particular location.
