Just finished lunch at this Cafe. I had lunch there with my husband
The veggie burger and the eggs with the hollandaise sauce were very tasty. We enjoyed the food. The coffee was great, just the way I wanted it, extra hot, and good quality coffee. I thought it looked really promising. Good food and friendly service
But was very disappointed when I ordered the dirty chai latte in the end after I had my food and coffee. I thought I would try it out before finishing our dine in. We had twenty minutes to spare before heading off to an appointment
I was so frustated to find that I was waiting quite a long time for a hot drink that should have taken no longer than 5 minutes. With hardly any customers in the cafe, (pretty quiet), most of them who seemed like they were family or friends dining in, I would have expected a quicker service. One of the owners who was supposed to make my latte was too busy socialising with his supposed friends and family. I asked him twice how long it would be and in the end he said it would be ready in 2 minutes but it never came. When we told him we needed to go soon he just picked up a takeaway cup and started making it when i didnt even ask for takeaway. I was so confused about the whole thing that I just let it go, I was in a hurry and accepted the takeaway. Lack of transparency on his part which was so unprofessional. Where did the customer service go I was not impressed. He disregarded my order because socialising was far more important-his priorities were all wrong. Not even to clean up the tables after customers finished their dine in and left.
The chai he made was absolutely disgusting, could not drink it, i just dont know how it was concocted but definitely not the way it should be made. Probably a rush job.We won't be back. They have lost our business.
