Not educated on food allergies or customer service. Had takeaway pizza from Santoni in December and ordered Gluten free, called to check it was gluten free as it didn't look it. Santoni assured me "Of course it is" without checking with the kitchen and with attitude. They in fact were not gluten free. I spent the next week sick from the pizza, tried calling back to advise and the response on the night and the response was "i know who you are, you called earlier. Well what are you wanting us to do about it What, a refund" It was very aggressive, I hung up as I was in disbelief this was how I was being spoken to, and when I was ill. I have emailed twice regarding this and have received no response, no apology, no recognition, no refund. Luckily I am intolerant, not celiac. But a total lack of education here around food allergies, how serious they are, and a total lack of understanding on how this matter should have been handled. Would never dine here again.
