The coffee was good and the wait staff were friendly. Unfortunately I ran into the cook outside, who I had to wade through a smog of smoke to pass. I asked him to smoke away from the door and he confronted me, screaming and threatening me. Disgusting behaviour. Shame because the location is nice, don't fancy fearing for my safety when I'm out for a coffee though. Manager was apologetic but you could tell she had no intentions of following it up. Sorry, I won't be back.

The coffee is some of the best I’ve had, the staff are amazing. They make efforts to remember all their regulars coffee orders, and engage in conversation always making you feel welcome. Food is cooked wonderfully also. The prices are standard and definitely not over priced, and there’s a section outside for smokers and owners to take their dogs ensuring everyone has a nice experience without impeding on anyone else. I come here almost every morning to get my coffee and have never had a bad experience in the past year of doing so.

I visited St Ivy Cafe not too long ago for breakfast with a couple of friends. We were immediately seated by a friendly waitress and given menus. Lovely little cafe with great service. I ordered the Eggs Benni with a freshly squeezed orange juice - both were delicious It was the first time I had tried St Ivy’s despite me only living 3 minutes away, so I will definitely be back soon for more!
