I would not recommend going to Sun Struck. This is the first visit that I have made to a tanning bed in the past few years and I have very fair skin. When I was filling out my new client card I was told that the skin profile portion wasn't important and to just sign the card. So I did. I then made it very clear to the attendant that it was very important to me that I not burn and that I would much rather get few rays than too many. She said that I should lay for 12 minutes. I thought that seemed like a lot and said that I was thinking more like 8 minutes. She then assured me that I would be fine with 12 and since this woman owns a tanning salon and should be a professional I followed her advice. I went to bed that night extremely burned. It was painful to wear my shirt or shorts for the next 3 days because the burns were so bad. Now that the burns have subsided, the skin on my torso and thighs is peeling off in flakes and there are marks of discoloration along my back. I'm very disappointed and after reading some of the other reviews...surprised this place is still open at all.
