We visited The Fighting Cocks on two occasions recently, whilst staying in the area and had two amazing meals. The steaks were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. They even had old fashioned banana splits on the dessert menu. On our second visit we had the cod and chips which again was cooked perfectly and was equally as delicious. All food is freshly cooked by the very talented resident chef and the pub is well worth a visit.

Under new management in the last couple of montha. A lovely welcome from Hannah and her husband. We have been for Sunday lunch a couple of times after our daughters Riding lessons down the road. Very reasonably priced. Everything homemade and generous. The burger menu is extensive. I'm working my way through it!

Lovely friendly staff... Sunday lunch excellent all homemade, you won't go home hungry..
