Visited The Hive several times and always had an excellent experience and most recently I had their incredible Christmas afternoon tea. A great selection of well made and delicious items and I love that they dont just have the usual boring afternoon tea food (no cucumber sandwiches thank god!) but offer things like soup and brie and cranberry sliders, mini Eton mess and Ferrero Rocher brownies. Service was polite and attentive. Cant wait to visit again.

an amazing veggie breakfast and waffle for my partner. the owner/server was lovely and checked up on the food. drinks were lovely and cupcakes also. overall great atmosphere

We love this little cafe and visit regularly! Always lovely hot coffee and the BEST home made cupcakes with different choices each time we visit (my favourite are the jammy dodger and biscoff biscuit!). The lunch menu is always fresh, great quality food and the afternoon tea is the best in Thanet by far! The staff are always friendly and happy to help in any way they can! They are also dog-friendly and can reserve a table in advance.
