I've had the same experience twice this summer so wanted to write this review. The waiting staff are taking their breaks, sitting down at customers tables in the middle of the cafe, sometimes sitting with friends, sometimes sitting on their own but talking to friends at different tables, sometimes shouting over at them, passing phones back and forward to look at photos. And all the while using really bad language. I'm not a prude but I was with young children and was really shocked. Often they are distracting the waiting staff who are actually working. All the talk is about having drinking sessions and friends getting off with each other, they seem to be completely oblivious to everyone in the cafe having to listen to this chat.People coming in are sitting down and are completely ignored, they have to go to the counter to ask for menus or order their food. I had to do the same and was left standing there for 10 minutes, while 2 members of staff sat at tables beside me and completely ignored me. I counted 4 members of staff and 6 tables occupied inside and 4 outside so it was definitely a manageable number. There were 2 girls behind the counter doing a good job and the breads and cakes are of very high quality. But the situation with certain members of the waiting staff makes for a very cliquey unfriendly environment and not one where you can bring children.
