Asked for a sandwich without mayo & was told all sandwiches are made in the morning. The statement made with what were clearly at least 4 sandwiches currently being made with only pesto on the bread. Was offered Ham & Cheese from the selection of ‘ready made’ sandwiches, which was not the sandwich I had asked for. Was also offered ‘vegan’ mayo! Not sure how confusing my request for a sandwich without mayo could have been. No mayo means no mayo (including vegan mayo, which is still…..yes, mayo). In the end, got my coffee & banana bread and left. Won’t be going back. It would me nice if the owner had a word with the less than pleasant person making the sandwiches. Incidentally, I have asked for a sandwich without mayo many times before and was always accommodated but not today. Got the record, it wasn’t busy. Woeful experience.

I am a usual customer, mostly on weekends. I really enjoy their products, however, last time I had a brownie (the vegan one was not available) and a raspberry tart for my partner, we both felt sick, as the quantity of sugar in them was simply too much. Nice selection for breakfast, however, not sure if we will still go back there. Nothing to complain about the granita though, excellent quality, quite similar to the original one.

I go here many times with my mom, dad or my aunt and cousin! The views of the river is immaculate and they always have a great choice! The staff deserve more credit for their tasty food and drink that they serve daily! I give my dog a small cup of water which is free in the cafe! If your pet prefers drinking from a bowl, there is a bowl outside the entrance! If you are going to Fitzgeralds park, I highly recommend going to The Natural Foods Bakery for a tasty snack or a tea or coffee!
