Wonderfull old pub with a fascinating history, Who would have thought that Hull was a sort of scrap yard for ships involved in the Spanish Armada, some of the timbers from the White Beare were used in the rebuilding of the hostelry in 1595. Lovely old wood paneling and small rooms inside but tall people beware ! You to could bang your head!. A decent looking menu but didn't have any food so I can't comment on that.

Went with a friend for a lunch time catch up & had bar snacks, which were like meals. Open prawn cocktail sandwich & fish sandwich each with hand cut chips, both very tasty. Will go again

No issues but a very local, locals atmosphere when I popped for the first time this afternoon (Tuesday 28 June 2022). Lovely decor and location.
