Great atmosphere & friendly landlord. The building itself is listed .. it's a bit like stepping back in time. Food is always fresh & delicious. Drinks are a little pricey for a town in the north east of Essex but I think that's the way most things are inflating in this time rising prices

Newish owners, really lovely nice couple. Nice food and good atmosphere. Hope they do well.
