I love this places pizza, but I was disrespected eating there. They have had a 2 for 1 pizza deal since opening. I have ordered it many times. 2 pizzas for the price of 1.
I asked if this deal was still going and was told yes. I get my receipt and I’m charged the full price for two pizzas minus 50 cents.
I didn’t eat the pizzas and ask for a refund before leaving the restaurant. No one in the store is trained to offer a refund. They tell me to wait 2 hours for the owner to come and make my refund. 30 minutes later the campus police are there escorting me off the property. The owner never came.
I called Lee today, the owner, it took him 20 minutes to even apologize. He lied about his business’s past deals “two for one.” Said it never existed. I know for a fact that’s a lie because I’ve got that deal dozens of times. After 20 minutes he offered me my refund.
However I’m never going to step foot in a place that stole my money and was untrained to even refund it. And definitely not when I call the owner and he disrespects me.
Also, at the same time, the employees allowed a regular customer to take 3 to go boxes from the buffet for free.
It is unfair and unprincipled business actions.
Although, I will say their pizza is still really good. Just not the employees or owner.
UPADATE: they would not refund my purchase even after returning. They gave me a partial refund for food I didn’t eat or order in good faith. I issued a charge back with the bank and will receive a full refund of 55$ including the tip I gave the server. The owner will also be charged $35 for the chargeback charge. All I wanted was a refund, but I had to return to the store, talk to the owner, and still didn’t receive a legitimate refund.
This business does not operate in good faith, nor can it issue a refund. The owner does t know how.
