This place is brilliant I love it, I really do. Beautiful decor and soon to be refurbished. Friendly staff and beautiful food. I currently enjoy helping a singer songwriter to do open mic here. Helping to provide a bit of entertainment at an excellent pub in a lovely location. I've had a massive Sunday dinner here and it was great. Thank you.

The pub is nice but the food is not good and overpriced. Ordered a plain burger but got an undercooked one with everything on including garlic butter. I couldn't taste the burger due to the amount of strong onion that was in it. Also ordered a sausage and caramelized onion sandwich but unfortunately it was actually overloaded with lettuce, 1 one sausage and no caramelized onion. The hand made chips were undercooked. What you see on the menu is not necessarily what you get!!! Staff were friendly but cannot recommend

The Duck is under new management and we thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch. There are lots of veggie options and the desserts are delicious. Friendly staff and gorgeous decor. There's a bar, restaurant and lounge area plus a large garden.
