I first met Nader at another salon that he was temporarily working at in Pickering. He is a very friendly and accommodating man and makes you feel comfortable very quickly. And for me this is even more important as I suffer from severe depression and anxiety disorder, but I felt comfortable with him very quickly and felt I could trust him. And except for the front being a bit too long, honestly this was the best haircut I have had probably in 10 years!!!! And also remember that this was the first time he ever cut my hair, so any hairstylist needs a few times to get used to your hair and how you want it. But regardless of that one issue, it was a very good haircut, and not only was it good, but it grew out very well also, so it lasted for over two months before I needed to go back to him. I had my second cut with him today and already it was absolutely perfect.
And yes, now unfortunately like so many other business owners during this pandemic and worldwide disaster, he was not able to maintain his regular salon location and yes he is now working from home, BUT he has a dedicated room on the back of the house, not in the basement, that is bright and well lit with many windows that allow daylight in and he has everything there to do any of the normal work he could do in the salon. And yes it might not be as nice as the salon he had on St. Marins Drive in Pickering, but the bottom line is this, its not the surroundings that are the most important thing, its the ability and skill of the hairstylist, and believe me that has not changed, he is still the same very talented hairstylist he was before and knows what he is doing and can still give you the same quality cut or styling you are used to.
So people please dont penalize this kind, dear, talented man just because covid caused him to loose his business, like so many others. If you were one of his regular clients, please still do go to see him in his current location and give him your business as you always did before and I am sure you will be just as happy and satisfied as you were before in the old location.
