This review will be a bit long, but please read the full review as it explains the various photos Ive uploaded.
Before I got a chance to cut my own hair here, I came to know this place as my boyfriends go-to hair salon. I visited this place a few times for his haircut and got to know the stylists, who are all very friendly. In our last visit (around May 2020), I briefly mentioned how I never dyed my hair and wanted to try but never got around to it. I told them I would come to this salon if I ever decide to.
Fast forward to the end of July, its my birthday and I didnt plan anything special, but my boyfriend completely surprised me with a reservation here to finally get my hair dyed! The entire staff was just as surprised and excited, and started by recommending me some style that would look nice based on my complexion. I decided to go with Ash Brown with an Olive undertone.
In the photo with my black hair, that was taken literally a few hours before I got my hair to the new colour. To get to the colour I wanted, it was a 4.5 hour process but my main stylist (Jay) and the supporting stylist (Chloe) made the process bearable. They also offered my boyfriend to cut and dye his hair (same colour) with a discount. As a person going through this for the first time, Jay also explained what she was doing to our hair and explained the treatment she used to prevent any major damages which was reassuring. She also checked our hair regularly so that each section was even. The entire staff would also jump in to help when they can so that both our hair would be finished on time. When everything was done, Jay explained how to take care of our hair to maintain both the colour and health with practical advice/recommendation.
Both my boyfriend and I are absolutely love our new look and as you can see in our photos, the colour transforms in different vibes based on your surrounding and lighting.
