I’ve been wanting to try this place for a couple of years but the reviews put me off. Finally tried yesterday for a midmorning coffee and cake despite those reviews. Loved it. It’s quirky and interesting inside, the coffee and the cake were really good, and the toilets not as bad as people make out. I think we were lucky that we turned up when drinks were being prepared for other people but after us the server disappeared out the back and several other people came and went without being served. Definitely worth it for the experience and, as I said, cake was delicious
