We planned a weekend trip down to Bisbee this last weekend. We were very excited to stay at this bed and breakfast because of the reviews and reputation. Let me start with the positive feedback. The school house and building is very historic and fun. We stayed in the Math room and it worked out perfect for a family of four (one double bed and two twins). The location is perfect and away from the loud bar strip in town. Hospitality, tour and greeting we got when we arrived was wonderful also. Now let me start with the concerns. The entire building has no AC at all. When we were visiting Bisbee the outside temps were in the mid to high 90's and the humidity was higher also. No where on the website does it mention the lack of providing AC. Never got a heads up when we checked in.
The heat during the night was uncomfortable. The ceiling fans and floor fans they provided did nothing, and the beds aren't the most comfortable . We paid a very high rate and honestly for the conditions there should have been a discount or lower rate. not worth the price for the heat and inconvenience. 2.5 out of 5 rating from me. Come here in the winter. Avoid it during the summer.
