Handsome North American style building with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating plus a cosy wood burner for the colder months. Right next to the car park which is free for members but £1.50 per hour or £5 for the whole day and nothing in-between unfortunately. Menu is very National Trust pleasant but safe nor cheap but you expect that so can't complain - coffee is decent and good sized cup. Great park next to it for kids of all ages. Gets very busy during peak times so come early if you can especially if you just want a coffee etc. Lunch is served between 12-3 though.
