We were walking around Rye, not having made a reservation for dinner at any of the popular eateries here. Walked in as a group of 7 and were promptly ushered in and sat down at a big table. We didn’t know what to expect as we were very hungry and didn’t think we could wait… but our waitress Nancy was lovely and made sure we were looked after well. The chicken egg noodles was really good, even my fussy 8 year old enjoyed it. The crispy pork entree, prawn dumplings and chicken mushroom soup were really good. The lemon chicken could’ve been better, it was sticky and gooey and didn’t have the lemon tang that would’ve balanced the sweetness. The pot of Chinese tea was soothing and really helped to wash down the food well. The restaurant filled up fast, so would recommend booking a table in advance.
