Unprofessional and misguiding customer.
I viewed the menu in the window facing the street and was interested in item 911. The price was $15.90.
I went in to order, asked if there were a good amount of vegetables in the meal as it didn’t look like there was in the photo. I was advised that it has the same amount as all their other vegetarian meals which sounded like there was (to me). Was advised it has mushroom, broccoli and other vegetables. I took her word for it because she works there and should know right Wrong.
When I was paying for my meal, I got charged $17.90.
I pointed out the error and was told that “oh, that’s the old price, the prices have gone up, we can’t take the menu down from the window it’s very hard”.
I was totally go smacked at that response. It is a laminated paper menu for god’s sake. How hard is it to remove
Anyhow, I was starving and really wanted Asian food for lunch so I just accepted her response and paid - I really should have walked away.
When I got my meal and took it back to work with me, it had about 8 pieces of chewy mushrooms and no other vegetables- overly salty and not at all what I had hoped for.
Just beware and be careful to watch the prices you are being charged and ask more questions if you are ordering here because chances are you’ll be paying more than you expected as well as getting a meal you won’t be enjoying.
I can’t believe that businesses like this are still around.
